Veryl Victoria Miles
Dean and Professor of Law

Veryl Victoria Miles, dean and professor of law, is a graduate of Wells College in Aurora, New York and a law graduate of The Catholic University of America. She teaches consumer bankruptcy and several courses in commercial law. Much of her scholarship has been devoted to the subject of consumer bankruptcy law. She has taught at the law school since 1987. During the years of 1997 through 1999, Professor Miles served as the associate dean of Academic Affairs at the law school. Prior to joining the faculty at CUA, Professor Miles was on the law faculty at George Mason University School of Law. She has also taught in the summer school program at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, and served as an adjunct professor at the American University of Law in Washington, D.C.

Professor Miles also served as the Deputy Director of the Association of American Law Schools from August 2001 – August 2003.
