In addition, Professor Klein has served as a volunteer trainer and mentor for law professors and lawyers in Poland, Russian, Kyrgyz Republic and other countries of the former Soviet Union.  She is also involved in an on-going project to support the development of law school clinics and other innovative teaching methodologies in the region.  She has helped design and has participated in colloquium, workshops and conferences furthering this work in Poland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Hungary, Turkey, Kyrgyz Republic and the United States.  Professor Klein is a current member of the Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE) Steering Committee, serving as one of two representatives from North America.
