COMMUNICATIONS LAW STUDENTS ASSOCIATION: The Communications Law Students Association (CLSA) was created to provide a forum for students interested in communications, telecommunications, copyright, and entertainment law issues. Originally founded by students enrolled in the Institute for Communications Law Studies, membership is now open to all students in the law school community. CLSA sponsors dinners with adjunct professors who teach in the Institute, and lectures with industry professionals, faculty and alumni working in communications law. To help expand the experience and contacts of students, CLSA provides networking resources for students seeking to complete externships and clerkships in the communications law field at various firms, companies, and federal agencies throughout the Washington, D.C., area.
