Columbus School of Law Marks Impressive Rise in Latest U.S. News Rankings
The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law enjoyed an increase in its ranking in U.S. News & World Report's 2009 edition of America's Best Graduate Schools, which ranks the 185 ABA accredited law schools. The law school is currently ranked at 88, up from 97 the previous year and keeping it firmly placed within the top 100 law schools.
“Our law school’s improvement puts it among a select group of law schools that made the biggest gains during the past year, based on the methodology of computing these rankings,” said Veryl V. Miles, dean of the Columbus School of Law. “We are very pleased with this recognition, as we continue our commitment to offer our students the best and most complete legal education experience possible."
Highlights of graduate school rankings are scheduled for publication in the April 7-14 edition of the U.S. News & World Report magazine. They will be available for newsstand purchase as of Mon., March 31, and America's Best Graduate Schools guidebook goes on sale Tues., April 1.
