Professor Raymond Marcin Presents Paper at Noted Catholic Conference

Professor Raymond Marcin delivered a paper, “The Oath Against Modernism and the Present State of Affairs [in the Catholic Church]” at the 11th Annual Conference of the Saint Benedict Center in Nashua, NH, on Aug. 18, 2007.

The Saint Benedict Center Conference is a yearly gathering that invites leading Catholic thinkers and speakers to address important topics of timely and enduring interest to the Catholic community. Daily Mass is offered in the traditional Roman Rite. Event organizers say it presents a wonderful opportunity for shared-faith camaraderie, and that attendees of past conferences have experienced calls to a new vocation, a return to sacramental life and other profound life changes.

The theme of 2007’s conference was "Conforming our Minds to Reality: Truth, History, and the Present State of Affairs." Professor Marcin was among ten presenters at the two-day event. All of the weekend’s addresses will be made available on CD and audio tape for on-line ordering.
